This Kick Start will take you through the steps of creating a new Android application. No Android skills are required, and you don’t have to bring an Android phone, but you should be able to write Java code. Please bring a laptop for this session and install the following before the course:

- Eclipse 3.5 for Java Developers from http://eclipse.org/downloads/

- The Android SDK from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

- The ADT plug-in for Eclipse from http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html
